I had Fr. John two years for French. He was fun and engaging and he wanted us to learn. But my favorite memories of "Wheels," as we sometimes referred to him, are from Glee Club.

Very sad to lose Father Wheeler on Earth, but know he will be with the Lord. Never actually had a class with him, but he became a family friend over the years.

Uncle John was teaching in France when I started HS. who knows i may have been an Alumni. So many to choose from. The best is that with a lot of help from Uncle John my 3 boys graduated from CC Michael 2016 Jason 2018 Joseph 2021. They never would have been able to attend CC without all the work Uncle John put in to allow it to happen. While refereeing Ice Hockey 1979 - 1999, whenever I had a CC home game Uncle John would come into the refs room and provide encouragement. He did however also critique some of the decisions being made on the ice. He loved CC and what it stood for. He has 3 nephews, 2 nephew inlaws, 3 great nephews so far that have all graduated from CC.

MY MOTHER'S 100 YEAR OLF CELEBRATION AT ST. PRISCILLA'S CHURCH IN LIVONIA. SO MANY DIFFERENT TIMES OF SEEING HIM OVER THE LAST15 YEARS.

Fr. John became part of my post CC life as a wonderful and dedicated Choral influence when he arrived at CC in the late 90's. He was a wonderful, creative and talented influence in shaping the later years of the Alumni Glee Club of which I was a member for many years.

Fr. Wheeler recruited me into the CCAGC in 2004 and as a result, drew me back into as an active member of the CC community. It was great that we were acle to acquaint again, as I knew him as a scholastic during my years at CC from 63-67. He was a very giving and caring man of God and I will miss his friendship dearly. God rest the soul of this good man!

Fr. Wheeler was the coach of the ski team in my freshman year. He played soccer with us to train us in the pre-season. Fun, and a great workout...

I never took French and I didn’t have him as a homeroom teacher. I just remember him as a real nice novitiate. Mr. Wheeler. Our class got real close to Mr, Fr. Wheeler as the years went by. He was at most all of our get togethers. He was smart, he was fun, he was real.
