A Letter from Dads' Club President, Brandon Henderson
Catholic Central Dads,
On behalf of the Catholic Central Dads’ Club welcome to the 2024-2025 school year. For our new families joining our Shamrock Community, we look forward to meeting you. CC is more than an academic institution; it is a family of loving people who strive to provide our young men with an outstanding high school experience.
This is my family’s fifth consecutive year at CC with our 1st son graduating last year, our second son in the building now, and our 3rd will be there in the future. I offer this advice, get involved. The CC experience is not just for your child, it includes you. No matter if your title is dad, stepdad, grandfather, guardian you are a member of CCDC. CCDC’s mission is to foster community engagement and fellowship. And we encourage all of you to be a part of this!
We kick off the year with our first board meeting on August 6. On Thursday August 29th, Coach Justin Cessante '99 and the CC Varsity football team will kick the season off at Dearborn High. On September 6th, we will host Toledo CC Football. Please be on the lookout for game day sign-ups. Upcoming CCDC events in September and October are Corn Hole, Golf Outing, and Boy’s Bowl vs De La Salle.

We also have upcoming volunteer opportunities and encourage your involvement: Football Parking/Merchandise Sales & 50/50 sales. To run all these events, it takes a village. So please consider taking on a shift or two, promise you will enjoy it. Volunteer sign-ups will be in our biweekly Parent Newsletter sent on Thursdays.
Lastly, we are excited to announce the “CCDC Swag Shop”. The link is on the CCDC landing page. Items for dad are available online and shipped right to your doorstep. So, get your merch and see you at a future event!
