Prayer Requests

With 9 Basilian Priests and more than 1,000 students, the Catholic Central family is a powerful source of prayer and support. If you have an intention you would like us to keep in mind, please login to MyCC and click on the Prayer Request tile on the Resource Board.

Prayer requests are published below for those who asked that their request be shared with the CC family.

Prayer Requests

  • For Drew Poet

Please pray for Drew Poet and the Poet family- Drew is the brother of CC Alums -Nick ‘14 and Matt ‘17. They relocated to Charlotte, NC after Drew’s freshman year. Drew has cancer which is not responding to any treatments and he has begun hospice care.
"Lord we come to You today for Drew and for all who know and love him. Please keep the Poet family strong even though we know their hearts are breaking so they can be a comfort to dear Drew. We ask Your mercy for his pain and suffering. He has been through so much and has fought so hard. Bestow Your grace and peace to the Poet family and all who love them and lift them up in prayer. We pray this in Jesus' name, Amen."
"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you.
Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you.
I will hold you up with my victorious right hand." Isaiah 41:10
