    Open House

Online Pre-Registration for Open House is closed, but we welcome walk-up registrations!

Please arrive before 2:30 in order to have time to see everything.

Since 1928, the Basilian Fathers, faculty, and staff at Detroit Catholic Central have been educating young men in Goodness, Discipline, and Knowledge.

Our annual Open House allows families to interact with the people who make up the CC community, and to explore the building our students call home. Meet with faculty, administration, department chairs, coaches, club moderators, current parents, and take a student-led tour of the facilities.

CC is the largest Private High School in the state of Michigan, and there is no better high school experience for a young man. Come see why!

High School Placement Test (8th Graders Only)

The High School Placement Test (HSPT) is required for all incoming freshmen at Detroit Catholic Central High School. It is a standardized test developed to help us place incoming freshmen in the correct classes. With more than 60 feeder schools, it is important for us to have a common score for every incoming student.

The HSPT takes approximately 3 hours, and calculators are not allowed. Students should bring two #2 pencils, and there is a $40 testing fee (payable at the time of online registration or at the door).
