Victor Verma ‘25 Named 2025 CHSL Scholar Athlete for Tennis

Detroit Catholic Central co-captain Victor Verma ‘25 has been named the 2025 Catholic High School League (CHSL) Scholar Athlete for Tennis.

The CHSL Scholar Athlete Award recognizes senior student-athletes who have balanced their academic responsibilities with their athletic commitments. Victor’s selection reflects his consistent effort in both areas throughout his high school career.

Victor has been a four-year member of the Catholic Central tennis team and served as co-captain during his senior season. He has been a reliable presence in the lineup and a supportive teammate.

In addition to his contributions on the court, Victor has maintained strong academic performance and has been involved in other areas of student life at Catholic Central.

Congratulations to Victor on this well-earned recognition.
