The Catholic Central community showed up in a big way for our annual Athletic Day of Giving on Tuesday, June 9.

With a goal of raising $175,000 to support Shamrock Athletics, approximately 330 donors helped push the total to $204,459.

The Day of Giving supports all 18 varsity sports, with each program setting its own fundraising goal. Donations directly support the needs of each team, helping cover expenses such as equipment, travel, training opportunities, facility improvements, and other program costs.

A big part of this year's effort came from our student-athletes themselves. Throughout the day, athletes participated in a phoneathon, reaching out to alumni, family members, and supporters to share the impact of Shamrock Athletics and ask for support. Student-athletes also helped spread the word through social media videos, giving donors a firsthand look at what their contributions mean to the programs they love.

While every team benefited from the generosity of the Catholic Central community, three of our 18 varsity programs reached or exceeded their individual fundraising goals.

Thank you to everyone who made a gift, shared our posts, answered a phone call from one of our student-athletes, or helped spread the word. Your support makes a difference, and we are grateful for your commitment to Shamrock Athletics.
