On July 21, the Catholic Central community once again demonstrated the strength of its spirit, raising an incredible $102,990 in just one day during our 2025 Shamrock Day of Giving. 

Every dollar raised directly supports all 18 of our varsity athletic programs, ensuring that our student-athletes continue to grow in Goodness, Discipline, and Knowledge, on and off the field.

At Detroit Catholic Central, athletics are more than competition. They are a key part of shaping men of character, grit, and spirit. Whether it’s early morning weight training, long road trips, or game-day intensity, each experience builds not just better athletes, but stronger men.

From storied traditions like CC Football and Wrestling, to the continued rise of Rugby, Golf, Esports, and others, your generosity helps our Shamrocks compete with pride and purpose.

Throughout the day, donors unlocked special matches, challenges, and unique incentives, including everything from season passes and signed mini helmets, to the chance to drop the puck at Thanksgiving Hockey, flip the coin at Boys' Bowl, and even endow an athletic scholarship.

We are deeply thankful to the 230+ donors who stepped up in support of Shamrock Athletics, including our alumni, parents, faculty and staff, students, and family and friends of Catholic Central.
