Tennis Teams Serve the Community

The Catholic Central Varsity and JV Tennis teams took time off the court last Thursday, September 3, 2026, to give back to the community.

Shamrock student-athletes volunteered at Open Door Ministry, a faith-driven organization that serves families in need by providing food and resources designed to help them build greater stability and self-sufficiency.

The opportunity gave the players a chance to come together as a team while putting Catholic Central's commitment to service into action.

Head Tennis Coach Robbie Risdon shared, "The team spent time serving the community and helping wherever they were needed. The boys worked together, gave their time, and were willing to take on whatever tasks were asked of them. They represented Catholic Central and our tennis program very well. I was proud to see them step away from the tennis court and put their values into action by serving others. Experiences like this are an important part of developing young men and leaders."

Thank you to our tennis teams for representing the Shamrock community so well!
