Tennis Teams Serve 500 Lunches At Detroit Soup Kitchen
The Catholic Central JV and Varsity tennis teams attended their first team unity event of 2024 at the Crossroads Soup Kitchen in Detroit, where they prepared and served over 500 lunches to community members.
The Crossroads of Michigan is a food distribution center founded by Father James McLaren in 1971. The purpose of the organization is to find better, sustainable solutions to helping people living in poverty.
The Varsity tennis team just wrapped up a successful 2023-2024 season with a 5-4-2 overall record. Head Tennis Coach, Robbie Risdon, was also awarded the Regional Coach of the Year.
