Shamrocks Raise $3350 For Breast Cancer Awareness Pink Out Day

On Thursday, October 30, Catholic Central students participated in Pink Day as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Students were invited to wear pink for a $5 donation, with all proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society – Men Wear Pink of Metro Detroit. Together, the school community raised $3,350 in support of breast cancer research and patient services.

Earlier in the month, the Mothers’ Club also hosted a Pink Out event to show support for those affected by breast cancer. On behalf of the Mothers’ Club, a $500 check was presented to benefit the foundation, helping support local families facing breast cancer.

Thank you to all students, families, and staff who contributed and helped raise awareness throughout the month.
