Shamrocks For Veterans Club To Host Memorial Blessing

On Friday, November 10, the Shamrocks For Veterans Club will be hosting its annual Veterans Day Memorial Blessing at the Lest We Forget Veterans Memorial to honor those who have served.

Veterans, alumni, and current students are welcome to attend Mass in the Chapel at 7:20 am and stay for the blessing afterward. After the blessing, attendees are encouraged to stay for coffee, bagels, and light refreshments.

The Lest We Forget Veterans Memorial was unveiled in 2018 by the Shamrocks For Veterans Club and stands as a tribute to those who have served our country. It includes a garden with benches for prayer and a life-size statue of Christ embracing a soldier. The memorial is north of the school’s main entrance.

"It is truly an honor to host our brothers that have humbly served our nation on Veteran's Day with a Mass and blessing. We welcome all family, friends, and alumni to join us in prayer," stated Shamrock For Veterans Club member, David Kibbey.

The Shamrocks for Veterans is a student club that honors veterans who have served our country. For information on how to join the club, please contact moderator Mr. Griffin at kgriffin@catholiccentral.net.
