Senior BBQ Brings the Class of 2025 Together

Catholic Central seniors gathered in the student parking lot on Thursday, May 1, 2025, for the annual Senior BBQ, a casual event that gave the Class of 2025 time to relax, eat, and spend time together before graduation.

From 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., students tailgated from their cars, grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, and played lawn games. Many brought their own food and set up chairs and small tents, turning the parking lot into a low-key gathering space.

The BBQ followed a busy morning that included the Senior Salute Breakfast and Graduation Rehearsal from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. in the cafeteria, as well as the Spring Band Concert, which was held for the entire student body.

The BBQ has become a tradition at Catholic Central and serves as one of the last informal get-togethers before graduation.

The day wrapped up with Senior Prom, scheduled for 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. at Crystal Gardens Event Center in Howell.
