Ryan Rochon ’26 Earns Top-10 State Ranking in Microsoft Office Specialist Competition

Ryan Rochon ’26 placed in the top 10 in Michigan during the Fall Qualifier of the 2026 Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) U.S. National Championship, a national academic competition that measures students’ proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

The MOS U.S. National Championship, presented by Certiport and sponsored by Microsoft, recognizes students who demonstrate advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint through performance-based certification exams. Students who earn qualifying exam scores during the Fall and Spring Qualifier periods are ranked at the state level, with top scorers advancing in the competition process.

Ryan, a student in Mrs. Amanda Loffler’s class, achieved his top-10 state ranking through his performance on the qualifying exam, placing him among the highest-scoring students in Michigan during the Fall Qualifier window.
