Rocks Vitae and St. Catherine Students Assemble 250 Birthing Kits for Mothers in Need

Last week, Catholic Central’s Rocks Vitae pro-life group partnered with students from St. Catherine of Siena Academy to assemble 250 birthing kits for women in areas with limited access to medical care. The project was organized by club moderator and Theology Teacher Mrs. Alana Kanouna.

The kits include basic supplies intended to help mothers deliver their babies in cleaner, safer conditions. Once completed, the kits will be sent overseas to communities that do not have adequate resources for childbirth.

Rocks Vitae is Catholic Central’s pro-life club, open to students in all grade levels. The group meets weekly to learn about the pro-life movement and participate in activities that support mothers and the unborn. Their mission focuses on respecting life from conception to natural death.

Throughout the year, members take part in a variety of service and awareness efforts, including volunteering at crisis pregnancy centers, hosting diaper drives, assembling birth kits, attending pro-life conferences, and participating in the annual March for Life.
