Retired CFO Richard Kuzma '61 Speaks to Finance Club

Richard Kuzma '61 returned home to Catholic Central February 6 to speak to students in the finance club. Mr. Kuzma provided insights into career options within finance and shared real-life experiences from his career as a CFO.

Finance Club works to introduce the young men of the school to an ever-shifting and ever-expanding world of finance. In order to do so, the club not only invites individuals that are experienced in the field to educate students, but also allows its members to propose and create investments with the capital the club has raised. Members of the club are expected to uphold the Basilian ideals of Goodness, Discipline, and Knowledge to become productive members of not only the Church and society, but the business world as well.

Finance Club meets twice a month and is dedicated to two things: increasing the knowledge of members in everything related to the world of finance and managing a large portfolio of money on behalf of the school. As a member of the club, students learn about topics such as stocks, credit, economics, jobs, internships, and managing a large portfolio.
