On Thursday, May 15, 2025, Raphael Ayougang Tsakem '25 was awarded a $500 check from Christian Financial Credit Union in recognition of his accomplishments and bright future.

Each year, at the discretion of the school, Christian Financial Credit Union donates $500 to a graduating senior who exemplifies character, potential, and perseverance. There are no strict criteria—just a desire to support a student who deserves a helping hand as they take their next step.

This year’s recipient, Raphael, plans to attend Grand Canyon University in the fall, where he will study industrial engineering.

“This scholarship means a lot to me because I come from a background where people from my culture do not always get these opportunities, and I’m very grateful for it,” Raphael shared.
