Mothers’ Club Hosts Pink Out for Breast Cancer Awareness, Raises $1,308

The Catholic Central Mothers’ Club recently hosted a special Pink Out event during their monthly meeting to honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month and support local families affected by breast cancer, raising $1,308.

Alexandra Dustin, Co-Chair of the CCMC Board Dinners, shared the purpose of the evening:

"We're here tonight for our monthly Mother's Club meeting. We thought it would be a fantastic opportunity to roll in a great cause. Breast Cancer Awareness Month is the month of October, showing gratitude and support for fighters and survivors of breast cancer. So, we thought we'd invite the Novi Police Department and their pink Tahoe to come out and show their support. Tonight, we are collecting funds for a fundraiser. One hundred percent of the proceeds go to Ascension Providence Foundation, which helps our local families. We appreciate all of your help and support, and if you'd like to make a donation, feel free. We're excited. Thank you so much.”

The evening included prayers led by Principal Father Patrick Fulton, CSB, and Father Dennis Noelke, CSB ’71.

Thanks to the generosity of attendees and supporters, the Mothers’ Club raised a total of $1,308 to benefit the Ascension Providence Foundation, which directly supports local families facing breast cancer.

Donation Breakdown:

  • $228 cash

  • $500 DCCMC check

  • $580 QR code donations

  • Total: $1,308

The Catholic Central community is grateful to all who contributed to this meaningful cause in support of breast cancer awareness and patient support services.
