On Thursday, November 14, 2024, Jim Gibbons ‘68 was honored during a ceremonial puck drop at the Detroit Catholic Central hockey game home opener against Livonia Stevenson at USA Arena.

Mr. Gibbons has deep connections to both schools. He graduated from the Class of 1968 at Catholic Central and was a reserve for the 1968 CC State Champion Hockey Team.
