Forensic Science Students Participate in Mock Crime Scene

On Thursday, January 22, 2026, students in Mrs. Jennafer Obsniuk’s and Mr. Steven Minier’s Forensic Science classes participated in a mock crime scene in the Learning Commons, where they applied forensic concepts in a realistic setting and practiced observing, analyzing, and documenting evidence.

"In Forensic Science, there are three methods for crime-scene recording (photography, sketches, and notes). Students were responsible for acting as investigators and completed a rough sketch of the scene. This included bloody hand and footprints, blood spatter, a severed hand, and an axe. Teamwork and communication play vital roles in effectively gathering and disseminating evidence," stated Mrs. Obsniuk.
