Flying Shamrocks Take Flight: Private Jet Trip to U.S. Air Force Museum



The Flying Shamrocks, Catholic Central’s Aviation & Aerospace Engineering Club, took to the skies for a once-in-a-lifetime experience—traveling by private jet to the National Museum of the United States Air Force in Dayton, Ohio.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of alumnus George Turek ’66, our students explored historic aircraft, cutting-edge aerospace exhibits, and the legacy of American aviation. This unforgettable journey inspired future engineers, pilots, and innovators—Shamrocks soaring toward the future!
