Finance Club Takes a Field Trip to Blue Chip Partners

On Thursday, January 30, 2025, the Finance Club visited Blue Chip Partners, a financial planning firm based in Farmington Hills, to deepen their understanding of investments and savings strategies.

Blue Chip Partners specializes in wealth management, offering services in areas such as investing, taxes, and long-term financial planning. 

During the visit, the firm conducted a Bloomberg Analysis of the Finance Club's portfolio, providing valuable insights and recommendations on their investment strategy, financial goals, and overall club management approach.

In addition to portfolio analysis, Blue Chip Partners representatives shared their expertise on the variety of career paths available within the finance industry, offering students a glimpse into what working in finance looks like across different sectors.

“It was extremely helpful to hear opinions and suggestions from industry professionals. The trip was a great introduction to working in the industry and gave a lot of insight into how some of our futures may look,” stated Hayden Sawka ‘25.
