Detroit Catholic Central High School welcomed Emagine CEO Paul Glantz to speak to students in the finance, DECA, and business student organizations Tuesday, January 23. The visit provided an opportunity for students to learn from one of the industry's leading entrepreneurs and gain insight into the world of business.
Glantz is the founder and CEO of Emagine, a Michigan-based entertainment company that operates 28 theaters across the United States and stands as the ninth largest exhibitor in North America. He has over 30 years of experience in the industry and is known for his business acumen and leadership skills.
During his visit, Glantz shared his personal story of how he built Emagine into the successful company it is today. He also discussed the importance of hard work, perseverance, and taking risks in the business world. Glance emphasized strength of character as a key element of his career journey, sharing personal experiences where proven reliability created trust in forging partnerships.
Students engaged in a question and answer session, asking about the challenges and rewards of running a business and how Glantz grew Emagine from a small start-up to a major player in the entertainment industry. Glantz also shared his thoughts on the future of the entertainment industry and the role of technology in it.
The visit was not just informative, but also inspiring for the students, giving them the opportunity to gain a better understanding of how concepts gained in their respective student organizations apply to their own future careers.
