DRIVE Development Day Focuses on Service and Career Skills

Catholic Central’s DRIVE Development Days continued on Friday, April 24, 2026, with students taking part in both service and career-focused programming.

As part of the day, the school hosted Lasagna Love. Under the guidance of Mrs. Jennifer Recchione, students learned how to prepare lasagna. The meals will be delivered to families in need through the organization’s network.

Students also participated in a DRIVE Development Day focused on resume writing and interview skills. Todd Michael and staff from WorkSkills led the session.

The two-hour workshop provided instruction on building an entry-level resume, communication skills, and work experience, as well as practicing mock interviews. Each student completed a resume during the session and took part in guided interview exercises.

In addition, participants received 30-day access to Pathful, an online platform designed to support continued career exploration and skill development.

DRIVE Development Days are designed to give students practical experiences both in service and in preparation for life after graduation. Learn more and register for upcoming DRIVE Development days by visiting: www.catholiccentral.net/parents/drivedevelopmentdays.
