Drew Abbott ‘25 Receives National Merit Scholarship Sponsored by Kalamazoo College

Catholic Central High School is proud to celebrate Drew Abbott ‘25, who has been named a recipient of a highly selective National Merit Scholarship sponsored by Kalamazoo College.

This college-sponsored Merit Scholarship®, administered by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC), is designated for use at Kalamazoo College, where Drew plans to attend in the fall.

The scholarship recognizes high-achieving students who have demonstrated strong academic performance and personal character throughout high school. Drew is among a select group of National Merit Finalists to receive a scholarship offer matched by a college — something that does not happen often, according to Catholic Central Counselor Sarah Flagg.

Catholic Central congratulates Drew on this achievement and thanks the National Merit Scholarship Corporation and Kalamazoo College for supporting the academic futures of students like Drew!
