Dr. Grant Prior '14, DDS - Career Conference Speaker

“As your CC brother, I sat in the same seats as all of you not too long ago,” Dr. Grant Prior, DDS ‘14 told sophomore and junior students during the first of the 2022 Career Conference series on February 16.

After graduating from Catholic Central, Dr. Prior went on to attend University of Detroit Mercy, graduating from a seven year program enabling students to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in seven years.

Dr. Prior encouraged students interested in the medical or dentistry fields to ask questions and get involved at an early age, whether through shadowing alumni, making meaningful connections with fellow students, or taking advantage of the CC curriculum.

“When I was a student here, I took advantage of CC’s tremendous alumni network to shadow doctors and dentists in the area, and I encourage you to do that as well,” Dr. Prior told students.

Students interested in learning more about possible career paths and engaging in CC’s alumni network are encouraged to ask their counselor about upcoming Career Conferences. Upcoming topics include financial planning, sports management, law services, marketing, engineering, orthopedic surgery, entrepreneurship, and journalism.
