DECA Recognized Nationally for 2024–2025 Successes

Detroit Catholic Central High School’s DECA chapter closed out the 2024–2025 school year with outstanding achievements in both competition and philanthropy, as highlighted in the DECA Impact Report.

With 148 total members, including 104 students, 3 advisors, 20 professional members, and 21 alumni, CC DECA remains one of the largest and most active chapters in the state of Michigan. Last year, 41 students competed at the District Conference, 58 competed at the State Career Development Conference, and 26 competed at the prestigious International Career Development Conference, illustrating the talent and dedication of students within the program.

In addition to the chapter’s competitive success, Catholic Central DECA made a remarkable philanthropic impact. The chapter was recognized as the top fundraising chapter in Michigan, raising $8,350 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, DECA’s 30-year philanthropic partner. Additionally, CC DECA earned the distinction of being ranked #3 in the country for its efforts, a testament to the generosity and commitment of Shamrock students, their families, and the school community.

Catholic Central celebrates the 2024–2025 DECA chapter for its accomplishments in leadership, service, and competition, and looks forward to building on this momentum in the year ahead.
