CC Robotics Caps Historic Season at Worlds

Catholic Central Robotics is celebrating its most historic season to date following breakthrough performances from both the CC Shambytes and CC Shambots at the FIRST Robotics World Championship.

The CC Shambytes made program history with their first-ever qualification for the World Championship. At the event, they advanced to the playoff field for the first time, marking a major milestone for the growing team.

The CC Shambots delivered a standout performance on the world stage, finishing Qualification Matches ranked 1st— the highest qualification ranking in program history. That result earned them the opportunity to serve as an Alliance Captain in the playoff bracket for the first time in team history.

Both teams also competed in official playoff matches at Worlds for the first time, gaining valuable experience at the highest level of competition.

The CC Shambots were named Championship Finalists alongside alliance partners Mercenary Robotics, Chop Shop 166, and FRC Team 8595. The alliance went undefeated in qualification matches and produced multiple top-tier scoring performances during the event.

Head Coach Joe Lemieux reflected on the season:

“Enjoy and appreciate what God has provided to us this weekend. Please remember that everything comes from God in his time and through his wisdom. We will never understand the mind of God, but always trust in him and we will continue to improve as a team.”

Looking ahead, CC Robotics is preparing for the 2026–27 season and its upcoming game, BIOCORE presented by HAAS, building on a year defined by historic firsts and program momentum.
