Catholic Central alumni, families, and friends came together at Little Caesars Arena on March 19, 2026, as the Detroit Red Wings hosted the Montreal Canadiens.

More than 100 members of the CC community filled the stands, bringing plenty of Shamrock spirit and energy to the game. The crowd was treated to an exciting matchup as the Red Wings defeated their Original Six rival, 3–1, in front of a packed arena with a playoff-like atmosphere.

One of the highlights of the night came during the second intermission, when Jaina Yohe, sister of George Yohe ’29, was selected to represent the CC group and ride the Zamboni between periods. It was a special moment that added to an already unforgettable evening.

CC Family Night remains a favorite annual tradition, offering a great opportunity for alumni and families to reconnect, celebrate their shared Shamrock pride, and enjoy a night of Red Wings hockey together.
