Detroit Catholic Central has successfully exceeded its goal for the 2025 Canned Food Drive, reaching 110% of quota. This year’s effort brought in more than 5,200 food items and $6,500, all of which will be donated to Loaves & Fishes of Southwest Detroit and the Feeding Detroit Kids Foundation.

The annual drive, led by Student Activities Director Mike Carrier ‘06, supports local organizations that help provide meals to families in need.

Homeroom Winners by Grade

• Seniors: Mr. Debbaudt’s Homeroom – 100% of quota
• Juniors: Mrs. Manriquez’s Homeroom – 68% of quota
• Sophomores: Ms. O’Connell’s Homeroom – 65% of quota
• Freshmen: Mr. Griffin’s Homeroom – 410% of quota (School-wide Winner)

Honorable Mentions

• Dr. Zabick’s Freshman Homeroom – 117% of quota
• Mr. Rumberger’s Freshman Homeroom – 109% of quota
• Mrs. Paterra’s Freshman Homeroom – 100% of quota
