Catholic Central Students Volunteer with Life Remodeled in Detroit

On Tuesday, September 30, 2025, a group of Catholic Central students partnered with Life Remodeled to serve the greater Detroit community. The students dedicated their day to blight removal and beautification projects, working on vacant homes and lots to help revitalize neighborhoods.

The Shamrocks cleared two city blocks, removed debris, and even tackled small trees around abandoned houses—transforming the spaces into safer, more welcoming environments. Despite the heat, the students’ energy, teamwork, and commitment stood out. Their efforts made a visible difference in the community and reflected Catholic Central’s mission of service.
