On Tuesday, November 25, 2025, Catholic Central held its annual GDK (Goodness, Discipline, and Knowledge) Day, a school-wide day dedicated to community service. Instead of attending regular classes, students from every homeroom volunteered either on campus or at locations throughout Metro Detroit.

Groups supported a variety of organizations and worked on projects ranging from yard clean-ups to assembling kits for families, seniors, and children.
