Catholic Central students were recently honored with the prestigious Global Seal of Biliteracy for their achievements on the AP Spanish exam in May, 2026.
The AP Spanish exam is the culmination of years of learning and applying Spanish language skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Students are challenged with college-level tasks, including writing an argumentative essay in Spanish, completing presentational speaking activities, and demonstrating advanced reading and listening comprehension.
The Global Seal of Biliteracy recognizes students who demonstrate proficiency in more than one language and gives recipients a way to showcase their language skills to colleges, universities, and employers as they pursue future educational and professional opportunities.
The Catholic Central Language Department is proud of these students for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to developing their bilingual skills.
