Catholic Central Keeps Tuition Below Inflation for 2025-2026

Tuition for Detroit Catholic Central High School’s 2025-2026 school year will increase by just $300, bringing the total to $16,275—a rise of less than 2%, well below current inflation rates. This fulfills the school’s three-year commitment to keep educational costs manageable for families.

“We are excited to continue our tradition of keeping tuition increases below inflation, despite the challenges that come with rising costs,” said Ed Turek ’85, President of Catholic Central. “This modest increase demonstrates our commitment to affordability while investing in the growth of our campus and programs.”

Catholic Central’s tuition includes registration, books, and technology fees. To support families, the school offers flexible payment plans and need-based financial aid, distributing over $2 million last year alone.

Despite rising operational costs, Catholic Central continues investing in its faculty and facilities, including the recently opened George and Mary Turek Hall of Science. These efforts enhance the student experience while ensuring tuition remains accessible for families.

Thank you for being an integral part of the Catholic Central community, where generosity fuels our mission and strengthens our culture.
