Catholic Central Holds Annual Spring Band Concert

On Thursday, April 30, 2026, Catholic Central held its annual Spring Band Concert, directed by Alex Toth ’17, in front of students and faculty.

The concert featured performances from the school’s Jazz Band, Orchestra, and Symphony Band. The Jazz Band performed Autumn Leaves and Tank! The Orchestra showcased Danza EspañolaBass-ically Bluegrass, and themes from Harry Potter. The Symphony Band concluded the musical program with Colonel Bogey MarchFor the Realm, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Iron and Ice.

At the conclusion of the concert, the school recognized the Academic Team’s 2026 State Championship by unveiling a banner in the gym. The title marks the team’s 15th consecutive Michigan State Championship.

The band will perform the concert again on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at 6:30 PM at Livonia Churchill HS Performing Arts Center.
