Catholic Central High School Welcomes Jennifer Recchione, Administrative Assistant to the Principal

In May, Catholic Central High School welcomed Jennifer Recchione as the new Administrative Assistant to the Principal. Recchione replaced the school’s beloved Sue Martin, who worked for Catholic Central for over 30 years and served seven Basilian priest principals.

Please join us in welcoming Jennifer on staff and get to know her here!

1. What is your current title and when did you start?

I am currently serving as the Administrative Assistant to the Principal, a role I began in early May.

2. What did you do before coming to CC?

Before joining CC, I was an independent contractor with Midnight Kitchen Tools, where I managed all phases of product development. Midnight Kitchen Tools designs and sells innovative kitchen gadgets and utensils to enhance culinary experiences.

3. Can you tell us a little about yourself? What are your hobbies and interests?

Sports are a huge part of my life! I especially love watching my three sons play baseball, which adds an extra layer of enjoyment and pride to these moments.

4. Can you tell us a little about your two Shamrock sons - Dominic ‘26 and Vincent ‘23 - and how CC has impacted them?

Vincent, a sophomore at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, balances academics with coaching a 13U baseball team. He also works in maintenance at CC, which reflects his strong ties to the school community and his willingness to contribute in various roles. Goodness, Discipline, and Knowledge instilled at CC have shaped him into the young man he is today.

Dominic is actively involved in CC as a varsity baseball player and enjoys cinematography, especially in creating content that promotes CC's sports and activities. His creative interests and athletic achievements showcase his commitment to school spirit and engagement. Similarly, the values of Goodness, Discipline, and Knowledge at CC have played a significant role in shaping his character and pursuits.

5. What are you looking forward to in your new role?

I'm excited about the opportunity to make a meaningful impact and to be part of the CC community. Additionally, I look forward to building relationships with students, faculty, and parents, fostering a positive and productive environment.
