Catholic Central welcomed young learners to campus in June for Camp Invention, a weeklong summer program hosted by our Director of STEM, Mrs. Amy Ely.

Designed for students in grades K-6, Camp Invention allowed campers to explore science, technology, engineering, and math through a variety of hands-on activities and challenges. Throughout the week, students worked together to build projects, solve problems, and explore new ideas in a fun and engaging environment.

This year's Camp Invention program, Spark, included activities focused on space exploration, engineering, forensic science, and entrepreneurship. Campers designed and launched DIY rockets, investigated mysteries using forensic techniques, and tackled creative STEM challenges alongside their peers.

The camp is presented in partnership with the National Inventors Hall of Fame and is led by local educators.

Families will have another opportunity to experience Camp Invention this summer when Catholic Central hosts Camp Invention: Illuminate, July 13-17, on campus.
