Catholic Central welcomed 74 visiting siblings to campus Thursday, August 27, for the school’s annual Brothers Day. The event gave younger brothers a chance to spend the day alongside their older brothers and get a feel for life at Catholic Central.

Now in its third year, Brothers Day has quickly become a favorite tradition. Before school, the visiting siblings and their older brothers gathered in the Main Gym to hear from members of the administration, take a photo with their sibling, and go over the day’s schedule before heading to class.

The brothers also took a few photos together, starting with a traditional smiling picture. Then a second photo with the older brothers doing what they do best - putting their little brother in a headlock! 

Throughout the day, the visiting siblings attended classes with their brothers and got a firsthand look at a typical school day. They also had lunch together in the cafeteria, where pizza was provided for Brothers Day participants and their older brothers.

The day wrapped up around 1 p.m. in the Main Gym, where the younger brothers took part in a few activities, including a rock-paper-scissors competition.
