On Wednesday, October 1, 2025, the Catholic Central community gathered in the Robert Santello ’58 Gymnasium for the annual Boys’ Bowl Mass.
Each year, this Mass is held in the days leading up to Boys’ Bowl, setting aside time for prayer and reflection as the school prepares for one of its longest-standing traditions.
The Boys’ Bowl tradition began in 1944 and has grown into a highlight of the fall semester. In addition to the football game, the weekend includes a Homecoming reunion, the Boys’ Bowl Mass and Breakfast, and opportunities for alumni, families, and students to come together in celebration of Catholic Central’s brotherhood.
Upcoming events include:
- Homecoming/Reunion Celebration — Saturday, October 4 at 6:00 PM
- Boys’ Bowl Mass & Breakfast — Sunday, October 5 at 10:00 AM
- 81st Boys’ Bowl Game — Sunday, October 5 at 1:00 PM
