7 Students Named National Hispanic Scholars, Black American Scholars

Detroit Catholic Central is proud to celebrate seven students for earning national recognition for their academic achievements in school and outstanding performance on the PSAT/NMSQT®, PSAT™ 10, and/or AP® Exams.

Augustine Cabello '24, Johnathan Diaz '23, Patricio Ezdebski '24, Javier Farfán-Morales ‘24, and Blaise Williams '23 have been named to the National Hispanic Recognition Program. Melvin Mungai '23 and Joshua Tipton '23 have been named Black American Scholars.

This year, Catholic Central recognizes 23 total scholars across National Merit Semifinalists, National Merit Commended Students, National Achievement Scholars (Black American Scholars), and National Hispanic Recognition Program Students.

Detroit Catholic Central High School Hosts Successful Fundraiser Event in Partnership with Pure Barre for the Kiefer Foundation

Detroit Catholic Central High School, in collaboration with Pure Barre Novi, is proud to announce the success of their first annual fundraising event held on August 19th in support of the Kiefer Foundation. With over 100 enthusiastic attendees and the generous contributions of community sponsors, the event raised an impressive $2,500.
