34th Annual Alumni Dinner and All Classes Reunion Honors Frank Jonna '67 and Dr. Larry Schenden '79 with the Fr. Canning F. Harrison, CSB Distinguished Alumnus Award

On Thursday, April 27, 2023, Catholic Central awarded Frank Jonna '67 and Dr. Larry Schenden '79 with the Fr. Canning F. Harrison, CSB Distinguished Alumnus Award at the 34th Annual Alumni Dinner and All Classes Reunion.

The award is given each year to outstanding alumni and Basilian Fathers who have honored Mary, Alma Mater through exemplifying Goodness, Discipline, and Knowledge in their personal and professional lives. 

The Alumni Dinner and All Classes Reunion brings together alumni across generations, family, and friends of CC to gather together and share in CC camaraderie. 

This year, the event took place at St. Mary’s Cultural Center in Livonia.

Catholic Central’s Career Speaker series continued this week! On Tuesday, February 4, 2025, Evan Stockton ‘14 discussed his career as a college and professional sports broadcaster. Then, on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, students heard from Lt. Col. Karl Vogelheim ‘85 of the Michigan Air National Guard about his career in aviation.
