Eleven more Shamrocks were named Commended Students, adding to Catholic Central's legacy...

Novi, MI - We are proud to announce that eleven Catholic Central students were named Commended Students in the 2022 National Merit Scholarship Program. A Letter of Commendation from the school and National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC), which conducts the program, willl be presented to these scholastically talented seniors.

Please join us in congratulating Antonio Bush, Andrew Ciarelli, Liam Cross, Peter Denk, Colin Harris, Jonah Hurley, Joel Jaskolski, Nicholas Licari, David Mondrusov, John Smith, and Neil Zhu on their achievement!

About 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. Although these young men will not continue in the 2022 competition for National Merit Scholarship awards, Commended Students placed among the top 50,000 students who entered the 2022 competition by taking the 2020 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).

These eleven students join the two National Merit Scholars and thirteen students recognized by the College Board National Hispanic Recognition Program, who were announced last week.
