CC Soccer Coach Gene Pulice Recognized as Coach of the Year!

After a historic undefeated State Championship season, the Shamrocks continue to be blessed with post-season honors.

Head Coach Gene Pulice was recently named as the 2020-21 MHSSCA Coach of the Year for the first time in his Catholic Central coaching career.  Coach Pulice was sure to celebrate the team before anything else.

"I am only a small part of this award," Pulice said. "Our guys, the staff, our families, and Catholic Central all play a major role in who we are as a program and who we are as men of Mary, Alma Mater."

The Shamrocks finished the 2020 season 13-0-3, winning the Catholic League, District, Regional, and State Championships along the way.  This is the second State Championship for the Catholic Central soccer program in the last 4 years.
“Teach Me Goodness, Discipline, and Knowledge” is the motto of the Basilian Fathers and the sacred mission of Catholic Central High School. For ninety years, the graduates of Catholic Central have made a positive impact locally, nationally, and around the world.
