372 Students receive Gabriel Richard Honors at 2020 Awards Ceremonies
Beginning Monday, September 21 and ending on Thursday, September 24, Catholic Central hosted its Gabriel Richard Awards ceremonies. Students who qualified for Gabriel Richard honors were called down during homeroom periods to the Chapel where they received their award and were able to wave at their parents who tuned in live from home.
This year, CC recognized 372 students as achieving Gabriel Richard honors. The ceremony was spread across multiple days and homeroom periods to maintain a socially-distanced environment and allow for all Group A or Group B students (per CC’s Return to School Plan) to have their achievement recognized in-person and on camera .
A student qualifies for Gabriel Richard honor by completing a semester with a cumulative GPA of 3.6 or higher with no mark falling below a ‘B’.
The archived video footage from these ceremonies is accessible through the Parent Resource Board on myCC.
