Catholic Central Adjusts Admissions Process

The admissions process will look different than it has in years past for students entering 9th grade in 2021-2022 (the Class of 2025),

The largest adjustment is the move away from the High School Placement Test (HSPT) as a requirement for General Admissions.

For students looking to earn an Academic Scholarship or place into honors courses, CC will be offering an in-house exam in November and December. The exam will feature reading comprehension, English grammar, and middle-school math (pre-Algebra, some Algebra 1, and geometry) and is meant to help us identify the top 10% of interested students.

This test should only be taken by students looking to earn an Academic Scholarship or enroll in honors level classes as a freshman, and is not a requirement for general admission.
