The ghosts of Detroit DePorres will be coming back to life and haunting opponents of Novi Detroit Catholic Central when football season finally gets on its way.
DePorres legend Kevin Glenn, a star quarterback at the now-shuttered tradition-laden Catholic League power in the 1990s before he went on to star at Illinois State and have a long, successful career under center in the CFL, has taken over the Shamrocks offense.
Glenn, 41, was hired as Catholic Central’s community outreach director and offensive coordinator back in the spring.
“Teach Me Goodness, Discipline, and Knowledge” is the motto of the Basilian Fathers and the sacred mission of Catholic Central High School. For ninety years, the graduates of Catholic Central have made a positive impact locally, nationally, and around the world.
