“The faith foundation and belief in God created an avenue for me to pursue my goals with an ambition and desire that’s uncommon. Catholic Central delivered so many instrumental figures into my life: Fr. Elmer, C.S.B. ’46, Fr. Donoher, C.S.B., Fr. Ward, C.S.B., Fr. McKernan, C.S.B., Fr. Menner, C.S.B., Mr. Rodriguez, Mr. Santello ’58, Mr. Lewis, Mr. Hayes, Mr. Petrovich, Mr. Gagnon, Mr. Dudas, Mrs. Valant, Mrs. Sharkey, and so many more who had a positive impact on me and my development as a young man.”

Favorite memory: Wrestling for Coach Rodriguez and the many memories we shared as a team. Coach Rod taught me that a Bible could be highlighted and it was ok to take notes in it. He taught me that with Christ in my life, I could accomplish anything. He showed me what love is and how passion could lead someone to be successful. Coach Rod will always remain as a pillar in my life.
