Shamrock Student Athletes Recognized

Several Shamrock student athletes earned some recognition at the end of the year, both from the Catholic High School League and the Detroit Free Press.

Brendin Yatooma '20 was awarded the 2020 Walt Bazylewicz CHSL Athlete of the Year Award, joining last year's winner Kevon Davenport '19 as back-to-back winners from Catholic Central.

Additionally, the following Shamrocks were recognized at the 2020 Detroit Free Press Sports Awards:
  • Brendan Miles '20 (Winner, Hockey)
  • Conor Brownell '20 (Finalist, Boys Swimming)
  • Josh Edmond '20 (Winner, Wrestling)
  • Derek Gilcher '20 (Finalist, Wrestling)
  • Wrestling team '20 (Finalist, Team of the Year)
