Aaron Babicz '93 Inducted into the CHSL Hall of Fame

Detroit Catholic Central High School is very proud to announce that Mr. Aaron Babicz ’93, Athletic Director, has been inducted into the Catholic High School League Hall of Fame!

Since taking the helm of Catholic Central athletics in the fall of 2009, Aaron has helped 24 teams in 9 different sports hang State Championship banners, including a state record 6 teams in the 2009-2010 school year, and 13 of the 14 Shamrock athletic programs celebrate CHSL Championships.

Aaron has also pushed to grow the athletics department, adding boardercross, eSports, and rugby as club sports. He also led the drive for Catholic Central to partner with Mercy Elite training to give every young man at Catholic Central the chance to work with certified trainers in the CC weight room, expanding the inclusion of the athletics department to every Shamrock.

One of the most passionate Catholic Central personalities there is, Aaron is a crucial component of CC spirit, brotherhood, and excellence.

We are incredibly proud of our CC Brother. Congratulations, Aaron, on a well-deserved recognition.
