Shamrocks in Spain!

Catholic Central's Spanish students, along with Mrs. Hernandez-Winchell, Mrs. Manriquez, and Mrs. Fanning had an amazing time on the tour through Spain this summer.

It was an action packed 10 day tour that took them from Barcelona to Madrid, Toledo, Córdoba, Sevilla, Granada, La Costa del Sol, and part of the group even visited Morroco, Africa. They traveled by plane, subway, trains, bus, cab, foot, and ferry!

Some of the cultural highlights were visits to La Mezquita, La Alhambra, La Sagrada Familia. the Royal Palace, and the walled city of Toledo. The group enjoyed lots of delicious food such as typical Spanish tapas and paella, and got to see a traditional Flamenco performance. It was a wonderful trip that allowed the students to be immersed in the Spanish culture and to try and see many new things!
