About Us

The CC Shamrock News program is in its 4th season!

CC’s Shamrock United Network (SUN)  began in the fall of 2017 (originally named WCCTV) as a way to bring announcements and information about school clubs, sports and other events to students during their homeroom periods.  Each day, the student news is produced and edited by the student news team and viewed by all CC students in their designated homerooms.

The CC Shamrock News Team is composed of students from all grade levels focused on all areas of news production including script writing, anchoring, on-the-scene reporting, and editing.
The news team produces the news after school and some evenings to deliver the news program on the following school day.

Though the on-campus Shamrock News student is currently closed due to social distancing and mask requirements, the news team is working safely at home producing the news!  This year may look different but our goal is to bring you the same news program that you’ve grown accustomed to!

If anyone is interested in joining the news team, please see Mrs. Teed or email her at to inquire!
